- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 c. shortening
- 1 tall can milk
- 2 eggs

Directions

1Sift together all dry ingredients into bowl.

2Add shortening and mix.

3Add all milk and eggs.

4Roll very thin in circle, about 6 inches in diameter.

5Put any kind of fruit on dough.

6Wet edges of dough and fold over; crimp with fork.

7Cook in hot, deep fat. Makes about 30 pies.
