  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 3 eggs (beat them separate yolks and whites)
  • 8 oz. candied pineapple
  • 1/4 c. sweet milk
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder (heaping)
  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 c. pecans
  • 8 oz. candied cherries
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 oz. lemon extract

    Add egg yolks, then dry ingredients alternately with liquids.

    Add lemon extract, then fold in egg whites.
