- 1 (1 to 1 1/2 lb.) flank steak
- salt and pepper
- 1 (30 oz.) can fruit cocktail
- 1 Tbsp. salad oil
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 c. bottled teriyaki sauce
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- 1 clove minced garlic
Directions

1Sprinkle flank steak with salt and pepper.

2Place in slow cooking pot.

3Drain fruit cocktail, saving 1/4 cup syrup.

4Combine 1/4 cup syrup with remaining ingredients.

5Pour over steak in pot. Cover and cook on low for 7 to 9 hours or until tender.

6Add drained fruit the last few minutes.

7Lift out of pot.

8Place on platter.

9With sharp knife, cut thin slices of meat across the grain.

10Serve hot.

11Makes 4 to 5 servings.
