- 3 to 4 lb. sirloin tip roast
- 1/4 c. Burgundy wine
- 1/2 c. onion
- 1/3 c. carrots
- 1 garlic clove
- salt and pepper
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. dried mixed fruit
- 1 1/2 c. hot water
Directions

1Brown roast in hot oil; add wine and vegetables.

2Season with salt and pepper.

3Cook 2 1/2 to 3 hours on low heat.

4Soak dried fruit in hot water for 1 hour.

5Add to roast last 45 minutes of cooking time.

6Remove meat and make gravy with 1/2 cup water and 3 tablespoons flour.
