  • 2 slice Thinly sliced bread (sandwich slices)
  • 1 tbsp Jam of your choice
  • 1 tbsp Fruits of your choice
  • 1 Olive oil
  • 1 Cinnamon sugar

Directions

    This time, I am using whole grain bread.

    Cut off any crusts and cut up the fruit into 1cm chunks.

    Top 2 slices of the bread with jam and fruit.

    On the left, I have apple sauce and raspberries.

    On the right, strawberry jam with bananas.

    Cover the fruit and jam with the remaining slices of bread.

    Using a fork, press the slices closed together all along the edges of the sandwiches.

    Kids can help out with this step.

    Brush some olive oil on the tops of the sandwiches and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.

    Toast in a oven.

    It tastes best when the entire surface is a toasty golden brown.
