- 3/4 cup margarine or butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 cups oats
- 1 cup flour
- 3/4 cup seedless strawberry or raspberry jam
Directions

1Beat margarine or butter, sugar and vanilla in bowl with mixer at medium speed until creamy, about 3 minutes.

2Blend in oats and flour.

3Spread half of the dough on bottom of lightly greased 9x9x2-inch baking pan.

4Bake at 350F for 15 minutes.

5Remove from oven; spread jam over the surface.

6Crumble remaining dough over jam, pressing lightly.

7Bake 20 to 25 minutes more or until ligh tly browned.

8Cut into bars while warm; cool completely in pan on wire rack.
