Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. dried apricots
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. dried peaches
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. dried apples
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. pitted prunes
  • 1 lb. pkg. raisins
  • 1 can pitted sour red cherries
  • 2 c. grape juice
  • 1 c. pineapple juice
  • 1 c. orange juice
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3 Tbsp. tapioca

Directions

    Grind or chop fruit (except raisins).

    Add 1 quart of water and 1 cinnamon stick to apples and cook until done.

    Add 1 quart of water to other dried fruit and cook in large pot (at least 6 quart) until fruit is tender.

    Add all ingredients and simmer until tapioca is clear.

    Add sugar to sweeten to taste (1 to 2 cups).
