Ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- water for mixing (about 1/2 c.)
- oil for frying (about 2 c.)
Directions

1Combine ingredients.

2Use enough water to make a soft dough (not sticky).

3Let stand for at least 1/2 hour.

4(The longer it stands, the better.)

5Cut into small pieces.

6Flatten into rounds or other shapes to your liking.

7Heat oil until hot.

8Place about 3 or 4 pieces of dough at a time in pan with oil and fry until done. It is done when golden brown all over.

9Makes 8 or 9 rolls.
