  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 1 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 c. finely chopped dates
  • 1/4 c. cherries or mixed fruit
  • 1/4 c. chopped nuts
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies cereal

Directions

    Have electric skillet control at 220°.

    Melt butter; add dates.

    Cream eggs and sugar.

    Add to dates and butter in skillet. Cook until thick, stirring constantly.

    Cool.

    Add fruit, nuts, Rice Krispies and flavoring.

    Form into balls, roll in coconut and store in tin can in refrigerator.
