Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2/3 c. Pet skimmed milk
  • 12 regular marshmallows
  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • few grains of salt
  • 6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Mix in a heavy 2 quart saucepan, sugar, Pet skimmed milk, marshmallows, butter and salt.

    Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat to a boil. Mixture will be bubbling all over the top. Boil and stir 5 minutes more.

    Remove from heat.

    Stir in chocolate chips until completely melted.

    Add nuts and vanilla. Spread in a buttered 8-inch square pan.

    Cool.

    Cut into 30 pieces.
