  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 rounded Tbsp. cocoa
  • 2/3 c. flour
  • 2 eggs
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Melt butter; stir in remaining ingredients.

    Mix together (do not beat).

    Pour into 8 x 8-inch pan.

    Put in cold oven and set at 250°.

    Bake 35 to 40 minutes until it cracks slightly.

    Cut in squares.
