Ingredients

  • 1 stick oleo
  • 4 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon (optional)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk

Directions

    In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar, soda, flour, salt and cinnamon, if desired; set aside.

    In a saucepan, combine oleo, cocoa, salad oil and water; bring to a boil and pour over dry ingredients.

    Stir well.

    Add eggs and buttermilk; mix well. Mixture will appear thin.

    Bake in a 400° oven for 20 to 30 minutes.

    Cool and frost with Fudge Frosting.
