Ingredients

  • 5 c. sugar
  • 1 can (regular size) Pet evaporated milk
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. or 2 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
  • 1 large jar (pt. size) marshmallow creme
  • 1 c. margarine
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 c. nuts
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Put sugar, margarine, milk, and salt in large pan.

    Bring to boil over medium high heat, stirring constantly.

    When mixture begins to boil rapidly, start timing and boil and stir for exactly eight minutes.

    Remove from heat.

    Add other ingredients.

    Stir until completely blended and mixture begins to thicken.

    Pour into two buttered pans, about 9 x 13-inch.

    When it begins to harden, make creases in top for squares of desired size.
