Ingredients

  • 4 (1 oz.) sq. semi-sweet chocolate
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. pecans, chopped (optional)
  • pinch of salt

Directions

    Melt chocolate and butter gently in Teflon pan.

    Add sugar, salt and flour.

    Stir well.

    Add eggs one at a time.

    Stir in (don't beat).

    Add vanilla and nuts.

    Fill muffin pans (lined with paper baking cups) 3/4 full.

    Bake at 325° for 25 minutes (20 minutes for mini muffins).
