- 4 (1 oz.) sq. semi-sweet chocolate
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. flour
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. pecans, chopped (optional)
- pinch of salt
Directions

1Melt chocolate and butter gently in Teflon pan.

2Add sugar, salt and flour.

3Stir well.

4Add eggs one at a time.

5Stir in (don't beat).

6Add vanilla and nuts.

7Fill muffin pans (lined with paper baking cups) 3/4 full.

8Bake at 325° for 25 minutes (20 minutes for mini muffins).

9Makes 2 dozen.
