  • 1 c. brown or white sugar
  • 3 tsp. cocoa
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 sticks margarine, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 (10-inch) unbaked pie shell

Directions

    Combine sugar, cocoa and salt in a bowl.

    Mix together the margarine and eggs; beat well.

    Add egg mixture to sugar mixture along with milk and vanilla.

    Beat well.

    Pour into pie shell and bake at 400° for 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 325° and bake for 15 to 20 minutes more or until done.
