  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
  • 3/4 cup 53% vegetable oil spread
  • 3 squares (1 oz.) unsweetened chocolate
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1-1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • vanilla ice cream (optional)

Directions

    Prick bottom of pastry crust lightly with fork.

    Bake at 450F for 5 minutes; set aside.

    Melt spread and chocolate in medium saucepan over medium heat; remove from heat.

    Blend eggs, sugar and flour in small bowl; stir into chocolate mixture.

    Pour mixture into prepared pie crust.

    Bake at 325&F for 45 to 50 minutes (center will be slightly soft).

    Cool completely on wire rack.

    Cut into wedges and top with vanilla ice cream if desired.
