- 2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. cake flour
- 1 tsp. cornstarch
- 2 eggs
- 1 stick margarine, melted
- 2 sq. melted chocolate (Baker's)
- 1 pt. evaporated milk (Pet)
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- pinch of salt
- 1 c. flaked coconut
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 2 pie shells
Directions

1With a large wooden spoon mix sugar, flour, cornstarch and salt; add eggs, then chocolate and margarine.

2Mix until smooth. Add milk gradually, then vanilla.

3Sprinkle half of coconut and pecans in both bottom of unbaked pie shell.

4Pour mixture over on top of coconut and pecans.

5Bake 50 minutes in 350° oven.

6These pies are great for the holidays.
