- 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 oz. unsweetened chocolate
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Heat milk and sugar to rolling boil, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute.

2Add chocolate, stirring until melted. Beat over heat until smooth.

3(If sauce has a slightly curdled appearance, beat vigorously until creamy smooth.)

4Remove from heat; blend in butter, vanilla and salt.
