  • 1 stick plus 1 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1/2 c. cocoa
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

Directions

    Melt together margarine and cocoa.

    Add sugar, 1/2 cup at a time, stirring well.

    On low heat, add milk.

    Slowly bring to a boil.

    Boil 4 to 5 minutes, stirring often.

    Remove from heat and add vanilla.

    Makes about 1 quart (keep refrigerated).

    Can eat hot or cold.
