- 1 c. seeded raisins, washed
- 2 c. water
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 1 egg, beaten well
- juice of 1 lemon
- 2 tsp. grated lemon rind
- pinch of salt
Directions

1Soak raisins 3 hours.

2Mix sugar, flour and egg.

3Add seasonings, raisins and liquids.

4Cook over hot water for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

5When the mixture is cool, empty into pie dough lined pie pan.

6Cover pie with narrow strips of dough, crisscrossed.

7Bake until brown at 350°.
