- 1 pt. milk
- pinch of salt
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- flour
- lard
Directions

1Combine milk, salt, eggs, baking powder and enough flour to make a loose batter.

2Place lard in an iron skillet (enough to cover about 1-inch of dough).

3Heat and then begin pouring the batter through the funnel, beginning at the center of the pan and slowly pouring outward in a circular manner.

4Do not let the dough tangle the previously poured batter.

5When the cakes are light brown, remove them from the pan.

6Serve with maple syrup or jelly or powdered sugar.
