Ingredients
- 2 c. milk
- 2 beaten eggs
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Mix together the milk and eggs.

2Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt.

3Pour milk mixture into flour; mix thoroughly.

4Test mixture to see if it flows easily through funnel.

5If too thick, add milk until consistency is right.

6If too thin, add more flour.

7Heat deep fat in heavy iron skillet or pan.

8Pour batter through funnel into deep fat.

9Spiral and other shaped cakes can be made by manipulation of funnel and control of outlet finger.

10Fry; drain and sprinkle with powdered sugar while still hot.

11Serve hot.

12Good with ice cream or with sausage and syrup.
