- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. cooking oil
Directions

1In a mixing bowl, combine eggs and milk.

2Sift together the flour, baking powder and salt.

3Add to liquids.

4Test mixture to see if it flows through funnel.

5If too thick, add milk.

6If too thin, add flour.

7In an 8-inch skillet, heat oil to 360°. Lower bottom opening of funnel and with finger release batter

8in hot oil in a continuous spiral.

9Fry to golden, about 3 minutes. Using a spatula or tongs, turn the cake carefully.

10Cook 1 more minute.

11Drain on paper towel.

12Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
