Funnel Cake

   Sift dry ingredients together in a separate bowl.

   Mix egg and milk together.

   Add dry ingredients.

   Beat until smooth.

   Hold finger over hole in a funnel bottom and pour batter into the funnel.

   Remove finger and let batter drop in a spiral motion into pan filled with 1-inch of hot oil (375°).

   Fry until golden brown, turning once.

   Remove from pan and drain on a paper towel. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve hot.
