- 2 eggs
- 2 c. milk
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Beat eggs; combine with milk.

2Sift dry ingredients together and mix thoroughly with milk mixture.

3Heat cooking oil in heavy skillet over medium heat.

4Pour desired amount of batter through funnel into hot oil, making spirals and other shapes through manipulation of the funnel.

5If batter is too thick, add milk.

6If too thin, add flour.

7When cake is golden brown, drain on brown paper bag.

8Sprinkle with powdered sugar while still hot and serve.
