Directions

1Heat oil (2 inches deep).

2After you mix batter, pour it into the hot oil, moving it in a circular motion then in a crisscross pattern until you have made a cake about the size of a small doughnut.

3When lightly browned, remove from oil and drain on paper towel.

4While hot dredge them in powdered sugar.
