  • 80 grams Cake flour
  • 40 grams Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 Large egg
  • 150 ml Milk
  • 1 Oil for deep frying
  • 1 Powdered sugar

Directions

    Add the ingredients to a bowl in the order listed, and whisk well.

    Prepare oil for deep-frying.

    Cover the whisk with some batter from Step 1 and move the whisk in a winding circular motion as you gradually pour the batter into the oil.

    Once both sides are evenly golden brown, remove from oil, drain, and sprinkle on a generous amount of powdered sugar.
