Directions

   Dissolve Borax in 1/4 cup water in a paper or plastic cup.

   In another cup, mix 1/8 cup Elmer's glue with 1/8 cup water.

   Stir well.

   Add food coloring, if desired, to the glue mixture and stir.

   Pour the Borax solution

   into the glue mixture and stir. Drain the extra liquid down the sink.

   Be careful not to lose the slime.

   Knead in your hands until it firms like putty, then store in a sealable plastic bag in the refrigerator.

   Do not eat!
