Garlic cheese tilapia

  • 4 tilapia fillets
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 4 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (I used Mexican blend)

    Take large piece of aluminum foil.

    Place 1 tilapia fillet on foil.

    Mix all ingredients and put 1/4 (total) of the mixture on both sides of the tilapia fillet.

    Seal the aluminum foil around the edges.

    Repeat this process with the remaining fillets.

    Stack all foil packets in the slow cooker on top of each other.

    Cook for 3 to 4 hours on low.

    fish should flake with a fork when cooking is complete
