- 1 14 lbs potatoes, peeled and diced
- 8 garlic cloves, large pieces
- 1 bay leaf
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 14 cup vegetable broth
Directions

1Put everything but the stock into a pot and cover with cold water.

2Bring to a boil then reduce heat to a simmer.

3Cook about 15 minutes.

4Drain the potatoes reserving the liquid.

5Mash the potatoes and garlic with the stock.

6If the potatoes are too thick, thin with reserved liquid.
