- 1 to 2 lb. pork, cut in 1/2-inch pieces
- 1/4 c. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 1 tsp. crushed garlic
- pepper to taste
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- water (to cover meat)
Directions

1Cut meat into 1/2-inch squares.

2In a big bowl, mix soy sauce, garlic, pepper and brown sugar.

3Add meat.

4Add enough water to cover meat.

5Marinate 2 hours or more.

6Mix flour and cornstarch. Dip drained meat pieces in mixture.

7Deep-fry until meat floats. The longer it marinates the better the meat tastes.

8Serves 4 people.
