Garlic Smashed Potatoes With Bacon

- 8 potatoes, unpeeled
- 1/2 lb. bacon
- 1/2 stick butter or margarine
- 2 cloves garlic
- salt
- pepper
Directions

1Boil unpeeled potatoes until soft enough to hand mash.

2While potatoes boil, fry bacon and crumble loosely.

3Drain potatoes and put in large bowl to mash.

4Add butter and pressed garlic.

5Salt and pepper to taste.

6Mash with hand masher to preferred consistency.

7Fold in crumbled bacon.

8Serve!
