Garlic Soup

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. chopped garlic
  • 1/2 lb. butter
  • 4 c. skinless potatoes, boiled
  • 1/2 c. onions, chopped
  • 1 tsp. basil
  • 1 tsp. white pepper
  • chicken broth (paste)

Directions

    Melt butter.

    Add chopped onions and garlic; saute for a few minutes.

    Add cut up cooked potatoes; cook for 3 or 4 minutes. Remove from heat; puree through a blender.

    If too thick, add a little water.

    Boil 1 quart water.

    Add 2 tablespoons chicken paste.

    Add ingredients from blender.

    Add basil and white pepper. Enjoy!

    You may want to serve croutons on top of soup.
