- 1 cup fresh garlic, coarsely chopped
- 1 cup onions, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tbsp. finely chopped parsley
- 1 tsp. dill
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese
Directions

1Preheat oven to 450F.

2Gently saute garlic and onions in 2 tbsp.

3butter for approximately 10 minutes or until tender but not brown.

4Sift flour, baking powder and salt into mixing bowl.

5Cut in 1/4 cup butter until mixture is crumbly like cornmeal.

6Add parsley, dill and milk; stir just until evenly moist.

7Pour into well-greased 8x8-inch pan.

8Spread garlic and onions on top, then cover with cheese.

9Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.

10Cool slightly and cut into squares.
