Ingredients

  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 1/4 onion
  • 1/2 green pepper
  • 1/2 c. cilantro
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • .13 tsp. Pepper
  • 1/4 tbsp. vinegar (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp. sugar (optional)

Directions

    Prepare the green pepper for chopping by first halving it by cutting it from stem to end.

    Then use one hand to pull out the seeds, the white membrane you see, and the stem.

    Discard them and then chop up the pepper.

    Put the tomatoes, cucumber, onion, and green pepper into the blender.

    Add the cilantro, olive oil, salt, and pepper.

    Put the top on the blender, and puree until smooth.

    Taste a spoonful, and adjust the thickness and flavor with water, vinegar, and/or sugar.

    Puree briefly to combine the additional flavorings, if necessary.

    Pour each serving into a bowl.
