  • 1 peeled clove garlic
  • 1/2 small peeled onion
  • 4-5 small tomatoes, skin peeled
  • 1/2 green bell pepper
  • 2-3 jalapeno peppers (optional)
  • 1 small peeled cucumber
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup ice water

    Peel and chop garlic, onion, tomatoes, and cucumber; place in blender. Slice bell pepper and jalapenos removing seeds and inner rind; place in blender. Note: jalapenos can be eliminated for milder tastes. Add remaining ingredients to blender and blend until soupy. Keep chilled.
