- 1 loaf French bread (1 pound)
- 2 teaspoons mustard
- 13 cup cream soup substitute (Creamed Soup Substitute)
- 1 14 cups water
- 1 lb ground chuck
- 14 cup catsup
- 14 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 slices low-fat American cheese
Directions

1Cut bread in half lengthwise; hollow out both halves slightly.

2Cook beef in skillet and drain.

3Add Creamed Soup Substitute and water; stir.

4Add catsup, mustard and garlic powder.

5Bring to a boil; lower heat.

6Heat until thickened, stirring often.

7Spoon beef mixture into hollow of one bread half.

8Cut cheese slices in half; cover filling with slices and top with another half of bread.

9Wrap loaf in foil.

10Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
