- 1 (9 to 12 lb.) brisket, trimmed
- 1/2 bottle liquid smoke
- 1 c. Lea & Perrins
- meat tenderizer
- onion powder
- garlic powder
- celery salt
- pepper
Directions

1Trim as much fat as possible from brisket.

2Place brisket in 10 x 14-inch pan.

3Pour liquid smoke and Lea & Perrins over meat. Sprinkle well on both sides with spices and meat tenderizer. Cover with foil and marinate at least 4 hours in refrigerator. Bake, covered, at 200° for 12 hours.
