- 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 3/4 c. cornstarch
Directions

1Blend butter with other ingredients, stirring until dough holds together.

2Press evenly in an ungreased 9-inch pan.

3Bake at 325° for about 50 minutes (until lightly golden).

4While still hot, prick surface all over with fork and sprinkle powdered sugar over top.

5Cut into squares with sharp knife.

6When cool, I put them in an airtight pan to preserve the crispness.
