  • 1 cup Ice
  • 1/2 whole Fresh Pineapple, Peeled And Cored
  • 3 ounces, fluid Rum
  • 1/2 cups Coconut Cream
  • 1 dash Granulated Sugar, To Garnish The Glasses
  • 2 slices Pineapple Wedges, For Garnishing

    Put the ice and pineapple in the blender (I use a Vita-Mix) and press on high speed until is well strained and the fresh juice is extracted. Add rum and coconut cream and blend until combined.

    Garnish the glasses with granulated sugar by pressing them upside down on the sugar (with the top wet with water, pineapple juice or lime juice). Pour the pina colada in and top with pineapple wedges.
