  • 1 c. salad oil
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. sifted flour
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 c. diced cooking apples
  • 1/2 to 1 c. chopped nuts

    Beat eggs and salad oil until foamy.

    Add sugar, flour, cinnamon, vanilla, soda and salt; mix well.

    Add diced apples and nut meats.

    Pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake 45 to 60 minutes at 350°.
