- 1/2 c. milk
- 3/4 c. margarine
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 4 large McIntosh apples, diced
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 2 tsp. flour
- 2 tsp. margarine
Directions

1Cream together milk, margarine, vanilla, sugar and egg.

2Add flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, apples and nuts.

3Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.

4Combine topping ingredients and sprinkle on cake before baking.

5Bake at 375° for 35 to 40 minutes.
