  • 3 Tbsp. oleo
  • 1 small onion, chopped (about 1/3 c.)
  • 1 qt. shredded cabbage
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. caraway seed
  • 1 Tbsp. cider vinegar
  • 1/4 c. water

Directions

    In a 10-inch skillet, melt the oleo.

    Add onion and brown. Remove onion. Add other ingredients.

    Mix and let cabbage wilt. Add onion back in.

    Cover and simmer 10 minutes.
