- 60 light caramels
- 1/2 c. evaporated milk
- 1 (18 oz.) pkg. German chocolate cake mix
- 1/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 c. chocolate chips
- 3/4 c. oleo, melted
Directions

1In a pan, combine caramels and milk.

2Heat until all caramels are melted and set aside.

3In a large bowl, combine cake mix, oleo, 1/3 cup milk and nuts.

4Press 1/2 of the dough into a greased 9 x 11-inch pan or dish.

5Save the rest of the dough for topping.

6Bake at 350° for 8 minutes.

7Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the mix.

8Spread the caramel mixture over the chocolate chips.

9Then, crumble the rest of the cake mixture over the caramels.

10Bake for 18 minutes at 350°.

11Cool before cutting.
