- 1 c. sugar
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 stick (1/4 lb.) butter or margarine
- 1 1/3 c. coconut
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Combine milk and sugar in heavy saucepan.

2Beat yolks in small bowl until smooth.

3Add to milk and sugar when mixture is just warm.

4Bring to boil and cook, stirring constantly until thick. Remove from heat and beat until.

5Add coconut and pecans and frost top of each layer of German chocolate cake.
