German Chocolate Pie

  • 1 deep-dish pie shell
  • 1 (14 oz.) pkg. German sweet chocolate
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 large can evaporated milk
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 c. Angel Flake coconut
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • pinch of salt

Directions

    Melt chocolate and butter.

    Add milk and coconut.

    Combine eggs, sugar and nuts and stir into chocolate mixture; mix well. Pour into pie crust.

    Bake in 400° oven about 30 minutes.
