  • 1 (4 oz.) pkg. German's sweet chocolate
  • 1/4 c. margarine
  • 1 2/3 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/3 c. shredded coconut
  • 1 c. chopped pecans

Directions

    Melt together chocolate and margarine.

    Blend in evaporated milk.

    Mix and add sugar, cornstarch and salt.

    Beat and blend into chocolate mixture the eggs and vanilla.

    Add coconut and pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shell.

    Bake at 375° for 45 to 50 minutes.

    Cool at least 4 hours.
