German Chocolate Pie

- 2 unbaked deep dish pie shells
- 7 Tbsp. cocoa
- 3 c. sugar
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 c. coconut
- 1 (13 1/2 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 stick melted margarine
Directions

1Mix together cocoa, sugar, eggs, evaporated milk, margarine and vanilla over lot heat stirring slowly.

2Add nuts and coconut lastly after mixture begins to get thick.

3Pour into pie shells. Bake 325° for 40-50 minutes.

4If preferred you may put pecan halves on top of the pie before baking.

5Makes 2 pies.
