- 1 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 2 Tbsp. cocoa
- pinch of salt
- 2 eggs
- 3 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 2/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 c. flaked coconut
- 1/2 to 3/4 c. pecans, chopped
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell
Directions

1Combine sugar, cornstarch, flour, cocoa and salt.

2Add eggs, butter and milk, then coconut, nuts and vanilla.

3Pour into unbaked pastry shell and bake at 400° for 35 to 40 minutes.

4Top should be crusty and firm.

5The center should become more firm as it cools.
