  • 1 (4 oz.) German sweet chocolate
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1 2/3 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch or 6 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/3 c. coconut
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 2 pie shells

    Melt

    chocolate on low heat.

    Blend.

    Turn off heat.

    Add milk and set aside.

    Combine sugar, cornstarch, salt, eggs,

    and chocolate mix. Pour in pie shells. Combine coconut and pecans.

    Sprinkle over pie.

    Bake at 375° for 45 to 50 minutes. Cover with foil last 15 minutes.
